The rescueME PLB1 is designed to be your lifeline during critical moments. It can be operated with a single hand, even in the most challenging circumstances, thanks to its user-friendly design. A spring-loaded flap protects the activation button from accidental use, ensuring you activate it only when you truly need it.

Upon activation, the rescueME PLB1 swiftly transmits your precise location and identification to a Rescue Coordination Center via a satellite link. This means that rescue services closest to your location will be promptly informed of your emergency and will receive regular updates on your whereabouts to facilitate a swift rescue operation.

For added safety, the rescueME PLB1 offers an optional flotation pouch, although please note that it won't float in an operating position inside the pouch. Ensure it's securely attached to the pouch using the provided lanyard and suitable self-locking knots.

Important Note:

Before delivery, your new PLB must be coded with either an MMSI or serial number. In Germany, Denmark, and Spain, an MMSI number is required. For other countries, a serial number suffices, and additional information is not necessary. Remember that registering the device with the appropriate authorities in your country is your responsibility.
